Dr. Aijaz Q.Patoli has done his graduation from Liaquat Medical Jamshoro in 1986 and then since 1987 served public sector health department in various management position, mostly in Tertiary care Hospital and provincial level positions. Currently he is Deputy Director (eHealth) at Directorate General Health Services Sindh Hyderabad.

Dr. Aijaz has played role from the platforms of Pakistan Medical Association and technical entity “Health Soft” in introducing eHealth and Telemedicine since 1999 when he initiated a patient tracking system programs. He developed software of Data management of STI & HIV/AIDS patients. He has also carried out various capacity building programs included first public demo of teleconsultation in October 2005 using indigenous resources in Hyderabad, witnessed by the GOC Hyderabad & Executive Committee of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce with reference to role of Telemedicine in Disaster Management, which led to his contribution as speaker in International Conferences on Telemedicine in Norway (2006) and on Disaster Management organized by Surgeon General Pakistan Army (2007).

Dr. Aijaz delivered more than few publications/Lectures on topics like National eHealth Policy, Role of Artificial Intelligence in Syndromic Management of STIs at Primary Health Care Level, Knowledge Management through eHealth Research, Implementation of DEWS through technology in events and journals like American Telemedicine Conference, HISA Australia, eHealth International Journal, IEEE publications & others. In addition Dr. Aijaz played vital role in beginning of MSc Telemedicine & eHealth at University of Sindh in 2005 and joined first batch. Dr. Aijaz developed Master level syllabus in eHealth for two universities and is peer reviewer for eHealth publications on the panel of Mehran Engineering University Jamshoro. He has MBA (Project Mgt), Diploma Information & System Management and Diploma in Hospital & Health Care Management (Medical Technologies) also to his credit.
