Airport

Islamabad, AirportThe Islamabad International Airport (ISB) now named as Benazir Bhutto International Airport is considered the major gateway for traffic into Pakistan. The Islamabad International Airport (ISB) is located outside the city, and is actually closer to the city of Rawalpindi and busiest airport in Pakistan. It connects with major destinations around the world and is served by several airlines. The conference Venue is approximately 10 Km from the Islamabad International Airport. Public and Private Transport available from the airport to all part of the city.

Local Transportation

Taxis

A Local taxi from airport to the conference venue will cost approximately 400 Pak Rupees (5 USD). Taxis are a viable option to move around Islamabad and its twin city Rawalpindi.

Rental Car

Car Hire is also a convenient way of getting around. Although road signs and directions are only available on main roads, the city's grid and numbering system make it relatively easy to find your way around. Car rental service is available at the Islamabad International Airport (ISB). The offices are located in the airport building.

If you hire car from the airport to the Conference venue will charge approximately 500 Rupees (~ 6 USD). Most major hotels have their own car hire services and are relatively cheap.
