 A highly acclaimed and successful Workshop on ICT in Healthcare was held in conjunction with 8th Health Asia 2012 Int'l Exhibition & Conferences. Dr. Haroon Roedad Khan, President,
eHealth Association of Pakistan was the Chairperson of the Workshop.
The Workshop was organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. The Xeptionalz and
eHealth Association of Pakistan (eHAP) were the Workshop Partners, whereas this initiative
enjoyed support from Sindh Health Department. National ICT R&D Fund sponsored the
workshop.

AIM/ OBJECTIVE
The focus was to strengthen the participants’ knowledge on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and their role in supporting daily life in today's digital society to take better care of health of the citizens. ICT is used everywhere now and play an important role in the delivery of better and more efficient healthcare services. e-Health Initiatives and ICT Applications & Needs in Healthcare sector of Pakistan were discussed efficiently.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The audience included doctors, pharmacists, nurses, policy makers, healthcare providers,decision makers, ICT professionals, academia, NGOs, media, industry stakeholders and trade associations.
WORKSHOP SPEAKERS
The first session of the Workshop, was “eHealth Session” with the theme “e-Health Initiatives in Pakistan taken by eHealth Association of Pakistan (eHAP)”. Prominent Speakers of the session included the Board Members of eHAP and key associates of renowned Hospitals.
