Dr. Khalil Khoumabti is a Professor in the Institute of Information and Communication Technology, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan. He received his PhD in "Evaluating the Adoption of Enterprise Application Integration in Healthcare Organizations" from the School of Information Systems, Computing and Mathematics, Brunel University, UK. He also has an MSc in Computer Technology and a BSc in Electronics from Institute of Information Technology, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan. His current research focus is on the adoption of enterprise application integration in healthcare organization and e-government applications.

Dr. Khoumabti is on the editorial board of several international journals such as Transforming Government: People, Process and Policy. He has published 24 research papers in internationally refereed journals such as Journal of Management Information Systems and Journal of Computer and Information Systems. He has presented 16 papers in international conferences such as HICSS, AMCIS, ECIS and EMCIS. He is currently editing a book for IGI group of publisher USA on Handbook of Research on Advances in Health Informatics and Electronic Healthcare Applications: Global Adoption and Impact of Information Communication Technologies.
